Location Details

There is so much to see along the whole 240 km of the Great North Road that a simplified list is required.

To help find a location you have been trying to find we provide this ever growing database of features and localities.

How could we locate a feature?
GPS coordinates? Google maps? Signs and directions? These all have limitations

We have settled on the what3words locations. This service divides the Earth's surface into 57 trillion 3m x 3m squares, with each described by just three simple English words. This accuracy is usually enough detail to find most features quite easily. These coordinates can also be used without a data connection on their smartphone app.
